Thinkin about ordering braided front and rear lines from classic tube but they'll have to put together a hybrid kit.

I need to research it more. I just figured if I'm gonna buy flex lines I might as well go big and get SS braided for all four corners

Hey frizzle do you have the lokar th400 kickdown mounted on the engine in the burb and if you do could you shoot a few pics of the hook up and mounting to the carb..

Well, both rear calipers are on, but I'm still waiting for one ebrake cable...

I re-configured my rear shocks to allow full rear travel without shock limitations. More detail on that here.

No flex lines yet. I'm going to install the disc/disc prop valve bleed the brakes and drive it to be sure there are no other issue to be resolved first. Also, to be honest, I want to see how much movement we're talking about here. I'm sure the flex lines are ultimately the right thing to do, but I need to be fully convinced

Love the build. I was wondering what you were going to do next. You could have 12'' of snow and 28 degrees as your highest temp for two weeks!I just wanted to give you some motivation because your tahoe has been one of mine. Keep up the good work.

Well, It's been raining non-stop here and at the moment the Tahoe does not have a dry home But I'm still getting out there The next few items ( not necessarily in order) are:

• Rear Tubs
• Re-do Exhaust
• 68 clip with modded inner fenders
• Rear Cargo Area floor (wood planks/chrome strips)
• Truck taillights
• Body/Paint

I vote for the tail lights next, weather permitting. I can't wait to see that mod.

I might have missed it, but what sort of latching mechanism will you be using for the rear tailgate now? It seems a shame to cut a hole for a center-mounted one now that you've got that area so nice and smooth... perhaps a set of side-mounted ones? Will you use the stock release button somehow or go with a solenoid or cable actuated dealio???

The stock latches and button work and will stay. The gate is in nearly the same position/angle when it latches as it was before. I don't see any reason to change it.
