Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Just got off the phone with the guy down at the shop. We are now going to be doing a H-Pipe instead of an X due to severe fitment issues. It was mandatory for me to not have the exhaust hang below the frame since I may just bag it later! so the H-Pipe is alot easier to fit in there. Either way I will just be glad to have it back! Cant get it at lunch since I am covered up with busted ass BMW's and Mercedes today. I guess alot of work is a good thing!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Well this is what we've got so far. He opened up the holes in the collectors to actually be 3 inch, made new downpipes, h-pipe right behind the trans crossmember and mounted toe Flows. Tailpipes will be made after lunch and I will have to get those pics later. These are what I have for now.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I sure will be glad to get it up on a lift at my shop and undercoat that thing. Looks funny against that nice looking frame!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
i don't like being 'that guy' so im glad you said something before i had to call you up it would look super clean all undercoated though. even the spray stuff looks good like on mine and seems to hold up against chipping off and scratching.
i do have a question though buddy... how close are those tranny lines to the exhaust and how's your fuel line running? i'm really worried about how close the exhaust will be to the fuel and tranny lines on mine because i HAVE to have it tucked up along the frame like yours the exhaust work looks great btw and that chassis is CLEAN!! the extra step you took with her really shows now

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
The welding spatter only got on 3 of the 4 wheels so it's not a big deal. Here are the rest of the pics. The whole exhaust stays up above the chassis and runs out the rear exiting at the corners. Getting closer still!!!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
That means alot coming from someone whose truck is sooooo much nicer than mine! Just for a reference, they only charged me $250 to do the whole thing from the manifolds all the way to the tailpipes! Couldnt complain at all I guess!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
250!!!!!! Man you got to be kidding me, over here in AZ that would cost like silver said 800 plus a six pack. I am glad I have mine done already. I love how you kept it slightly hidden too. Looks sick. Mine is straight headers to flowblockers. WIth my cam it will rumble nicely. Love LS.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I am assuming that price didn't include muffler, right? Even without, that is a super smokin' price, and it looks awesome!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Looks like it turned out great Josh. The guys at Henry's are super cool. The guys there are passionate about what they do and like "helping" people out. That's why they get all of my business. Now what's next?

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I reused the mufflers I had so that helped the price alot. Jeramy, I am going to S.C. to pick up the CCSB and the stock 86 front clip for my truck then it's just the rest of the reassembly. Need to find some wheels and tires too!
