That's a much nicer truck than would appear at first glance.

I have to agree that the more you study it the more you see a pretty nice truck for the money. It needs a few changes to get it going all in one direction on one theme but all of that is just unbolt and bolt on pieces that jive with the total build a bit better.

As I said before, it would be pretty easy for someone to fly into the Pasco Wa airport (PSC) and drive it home anywhere in the country.

If I had the cash I'd be all over it right now and be hitting the road with it.

An AD "humpback" panel truck, one of only six made, the seller claims. I've never seen one before.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!

Well if it is one of six they need the documentation on who did the conversion and for who.

The truck is pretty cool but if you are buying one like that you intend to show in as an original restored truck in big shows and there are a lot of things that aren't right on it for that. Cute such as the body color air cleaner and light green engine but either or both would cost you and award at any serious Chevy truck show.

The Humpback MIGHT be rare but that doesnt make it desirable.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!

Not desirable as a modified rig but put back with the correct colors on the parts that have wrong color paint on them and painted correctly on the outside, meaning paint the fenders body color and paint the underside of the body and fenders chassis black rather than green and you have a truck that you can take to National Chevy truck shows and draw some positive attention.

When the car lot selling says it is one of six, what documentation do they have? Who owned it, Milk company, laundry company or ?? Done in authentic paint and signage for the company it was originally converted for would be worth a lot of show points.

Wow, tough crowd tonight! A unique and beautiful truck for a reasonable price and nobody can find anything nice to say about it? Welcome to the internet, I guess...

I just checked the ad: the seller claims it has a mere 22,000 miles and comes with all ownership documentation.

Seller says it was featured in Vintage Truck magazine, August 2020. Maybe you saw it there?

Everyone has their own opinion on "beautiful". To my eye it looks like a turtle. Yes, it's unique but I would never call it "beautiful". I call it unique but I'd never want it, hence rare, unique but not necessarily desirable.

Y'all Grumpy Gus's gonna double down, eh? Heck, it's almost like giving a compliment comes out of your paycheck

I came here to post a unique AD panel beer vending truck that's currently listed online, but since this humpback made y'all so unhappy, I don't want to ruin anyone else's day

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!

The thing on the hump back is that the owner's personalization in the engine compartment will probably cost him some sales and or cost him several thousand dollars in sale price.

Wrong color paint on the engine, Green painted air cleaner and some other miscues. To the guys who want totally original that is almost as bad as seeing an LS under the hood. Pretty but being judged on originality in the stone stock class you just lost a lot of points.

He's deciding if he wants to spring for the turtle and repaint it as an Olympia or Lucky Lager beer truck.

East coast find. 58 GMC Suburban, from Cali, looks decent.

Another east coast truck. 54 3100. Lowered, rebuilt six, dual carbs, dual exhaust, 4 wheel disc. Probably a much better deal than the 58 above based on the amount of work done.
