Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Thanks Jim, next weekend I'll get the boom mat sprayed and the floor will be done. I have also been working on the outside firewall doing all the bodywork so it is nice and smooth

Just once, I'd love to pull up the carpet on something I bought and see a floor that looks like that. Keep it up, Keith.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Got some goodies in today. I bought the complete Midnight Series Lokar pedal kit with the Billet Gas Pedal for 67-70's. Also got myself a new waterneck cause I didn't like the look of the 45 degree one I currently have so I got myself a Black Anodized Billet Specialties 15 degree water neck. Should look really good with the Orange motor and black valve covers and air cleaner.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Boris told me the end of the month. I still need to buy tires, going to get Toyo ST II 255/40/20 & 295/40/20. I will order them the beginning of November.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Thanks Raul, I'm also using Cool Flex hoses so I hope the Black water neck looks good with the Polished hoses. I think it should, everything in my engine compartment is either Orange, Black or Polished.

Beautiful parts Man ! I think the black water neck with polished hoses will look great ! very nice contrast, and work with the rest of the engine components too !

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Finished spraying my floor today with Boom Mat. I really like the way it turned out, this along with some fatmat should make for a nice quiet solid cab.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
I'm waiting on my brother to weld on the other porterbuilt firewall piece for the upper outside edge of the wire gutter to make it like the driver side, so I haven't done the bodywork there yet.
