In a honesty it took longer to open the package and read the instructions than it took to install them.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Hey Shawn. I was thinking about picking up a set of these a while back when I saw that they are still in production but the online instructions showed them as being screw-ons instead of using the clips. Could you confirm how they attach?

I wonedered that as well but the online instructions are like an updated or partial version. These are attached by clips that go up into the window chanel and can be removed easily. There is no drilling or damage to the vehicle what so ever. I have enough holes in my doors so I definately would not be adding any more

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Cool thanks for the info. Yeah, I saw the instructions on the manufacturers site and the drawing looked like the shade had a tab at each end with screw holes. I was like, nah, I don't want to go drilling holes just to install these.

BTW: Are they green on the underside like the old ones or polished or what?

No these are painted flat black on the underside. No holes, no mess. They are quick and easy, I would say go for it.

No originally it had a ratty bench seat but I got the buddies about a month after I got the truck so they have in there almost the whole time.

The ventshades look great. I've looked at them many a time but wasn't sure if they might be too much, but they pop!

It's funny right after I put them on I wasn't sure I liked them. Then I drove the truck home and it was just enough to block the sun and I was like bam these are great They are almost unoticable but once you do its like hey those are cool.
