I saw this truck in the part II pics and it made me think of your truck. I love the GMC front end. I think your wheel set up will look better though!

That is a cool truck. I like the look of the one piece windows but I remember seeing where some guys were complaining about them. That color is nice. I like my wheels too. Thanks.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Well, I started putting the fuel lines on today. I hate plumbing of any kind so this has taken me a long time just to start. I need to get some more clamps and a bender. I'm using the lines that came from Drews burb. They are clean looking and all I need to do is do some bending around the c notch and run the smaller line from the cab to the tank. Did I mention I hate plumbing?:/

I looked at it. It looks nice. I'm not familiar with the 4 link setup. Looks like a nice start. I don't know what that bar across the back of the frame is for. Maybe in the way of a stock bed floor imo.

I pulled a set from a square body that will fit with just a little work to the retractor mount bracket since the floors are sloped differently.

I got mine in dark red to match my interior color but they can be dyed easily with typical fabric & vinyl dye. Lots of tan & light blue square body interiors and not many black so that may be the way to go for you.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I researched them a while back and have lost my paperwork but you can google them.

I did start working on the truck today. I went and got some more bolts and a tubing bender, and cutting discs. I got to swapping bolts out for new ones as I ran low on new ones. I got them for the clamps that attach lines to the framerail. The in-laws showed up and had to stop and have a good time w/them. So theres always tomorrow.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I finished up the fuel lines today. Got the brake line from near the exhaust manifold back to the rear back on. I need to swap the reared out after I clean the new donor. Gears in it are better than the one on the truck now.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I thought about that but haven't looked at them that close. I will look again at my options when the time comes.

I put the temp sensor on the head and a plug on the other head. I cleaned up the basement a bit and have whats left of my parts (that I sell) ready to go to a swap meet.
