I've got to be sent to Orlando (3hours away) and take a class then ill be a gtr certified tech. I've only been here for 7 months will be the other gtr tech from what I hear who is not a master tech. Only got 2 ase's. . You pretty much went the opposite way I did. I started out at GM then **** got rough haha

oh from what i understand Nissan will not certify you in any spot you dont have ASE's in now. That whole tech thing they got going, for every so many techs in the shop a certain amount have to be certafied with ASE's and Nissan certs for the full level.

Re: 3r!c84 build

pretty much yeah. but ase's are really nothing now a days. its just passing a test. no hands on nothing needed. but they are wanting to pay for all of my tests if id like to take them. ive just dont got the time really. dealing with a whole nother field in school really takes your head away from the automotive world. just wanting to stay focused on school thats why i didnt jump at the chance to go to training up in orlando and get my ase's.

anyways ! talked to the painter today the drivers side all the body work is done and primed and body is almost done on the passinger. should see some color in a few days. havnt had time to go over there for some pics. but this weekend ill head over there

really getting excited for this

dyed my carpet. cost me 3$
used 2 packets of dye mix.
one per bottle. put a cup of water in microwave till hot then desolve powder in water and pour it in spray bottle. spray evenly over carpet and let dry.

before all stained and faded more than anything

ill take it out in the sun and get better pictures later but looks 100x better !

sorry for the long wait guys. got the truck back 3 days before we where leaving for the huge daytona turkey rod run we go to every year. busted ass and got it all togeather. got it back no bumpers, trim, rear glass, no interior, lights, and had to fix some electrical issues. got it all done on thanksgiving day to leave that night after dinner. 200 mile trip each way

nothing inside

dad out helping

everything in

quick test make sure she still had it

cleaning up the stock wheels to ride up there with. and i brought the 17inch rims with me to swap out once i got up there. the rear tires didnt have alot of life left and was planning on burning them all the way down while up there

I know your truck never was rough, but it sure has come a long way. Looks great, good to see you and your father enjoying it together.
