How bad is it? To me it looks like all it took out was the door.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

Thats all I thought too, but the next day when I looked closer at it, the cab is beent all along the bottom and back side, and the door is pushed up so that means the hinges are bent or the cab twisted. and the front fender is screwed. Plus the steering needs to be replaced. The boy hit me pretty hard.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

I was in the market for a 4x4. I originally wanted to find a '99+ 3/4 ton but wasn't having any luck finding one that was in good shape and cheap.

This one came up in my search as it is a 2000 but it is the old body style. It was realitively cheap and was in decent shape.
2000 Chevy 2500 crewcab 4x4
80,000 miles
7.4l (454), auto
4.10 with locking rear
Trailwagons Conversion although I am not sure what that really entails. I am guessing the color matched tonnaeu cover, color matched front bumper with PIAA lights, side step bars
It is fully loaded; leather, overhead console, cruise, power seats/locks/windows.
The guy I bought it from inherited it from his father about two years ago. It came with a stack of receipts including the original purcahse contract. Hard to believe this truck was listed at over $42,000 (sold for just under $38,000) and sold for almost 90% less than that 9 years later.

Although it is low miles it has been used pretty good.
There are small dings on pretty much every panel and lots of scratches.
Both bumpers need to be replaced but are usable for now.
Felt like I was going to break the key off in the drivers door trying to unlock it.
Has a flowmaster muffler on it, but the tailpipes after the muffler are rottted away.
When idling in gear the idles dips really low then corrects. I am going to do plugs, wires and have the FI serviced; it is going to get bad enough mileage so I should do what I can to help it out.
Broke the parking brake release handle when I went to drive it away from the guys house.

Anyways, enought talk, heres some pictures.

I like the low-pro offroad tires, but they are expensive. Sharp burb.

I like your truck too, butternut...there's that indigo blue again.

With a 5/7 drop, I can guarantee you the air dam up front won't last long. I only have a 2/4 drop on mine and the streets in my town can be rough on them if you ever forget. So far, it's okay, but it has been in contact with the pavement more than once.

Nice-lookin' truck.

It's all yours!!!

Did I mention it was bent enough to need to be replaced and unforuneatly it isn't something that could be straightened easily?
But if you are still interested...
*EDIT - I believe those bumpers are available through LMC?

The driver side fog-light (PIAA) still works but the passenger side (where it is bent) is missing the lense so I assume that has something to do with it not working?

I have been scouring CL trying to find a diesel front bumper. I would like to run the fog-lights like on a 2000 Limited Tahoe. I think it might have been done on a few other trucks too?

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

my 94 chevy truck was stolen last night. police found it about 20 miles away with the interior completely stripped, bumper, mirrors and radiator gone. my motor may be fried since they drove it with no radiator. im considering selling it since i do not have the money to replace everything. would anyone know roughly what it would be worth if by some chance the motor is still fine? it has a 350 with a 5 speed transmission and i posted pictures a few posts up on this page. any help would be appreciated, and im not sure if this is against forum rules or not. if it is im sorry and i will delete it right away
