Re: Wild C10 project

Good to hear. Maybe check titles of vehicles from now on? I know it's a little too late but I always do a title check at the DMV before buying that Great deal.
Still I am very happy you could work something out. I really wanna see this to the end-or beginning of it's new life as a legit.
Maybe it needs a new name...

The title was a good title, it had just been forged. It was only reported stolen maybe 2 weeks ago when he had found out what had gone on. It has been registered in my name for a while now. But I have learned to do a lot more researching prior though. It has def lived up to its name...

Re: Wild C10 project

just read whole thread. All i can say is wow. You have a great fabricator working on this, Glad you got the ordeal figured out. Had something similar happen. Bought a wrecked 98 did all the repairs and mods, then had a bailiff knocking on my door asking about the truck. Needless to say i thank the doberman i had at the time from deterring him away from the gate , enough time for me to get the truck in hiding till the previous owner made a deal with the bank to pay off a % of the outstanding. Anyways keep up the great work and look forward to seeing this beast done!!!!

Yeah very sick feeling when you have so much time and money invested and you did everything legit and correct. I didn't have to do anything but wait on my guys to make a deal. You just never know...just very happy to be back working on it.

Re: Wild C10 project

Sorry guys progress has been a little slow. I have been able to tinker around on the 400 and added some goodies such as a comp thumper cam, valve springs and lifters. Everything else was pretty much new. Got the motor completely assembled, striped and ready for paint. Here's some progress on the frame.
