Our hobby has been traveling looking for trucks and parts for the last couple of years. But part of the trips was eating ice cream at every ma and pa place we could find! I think that had a little to do with my issues. But the info you can get at an ice cream parlor is almost worth it! We found out about more trucks talking to older folks than driving around looking

I like Tillamook PepperJack Cheese. Had some yesterday.

I tried to google Tillamoo and it did not work, so I was wondering what was up. We always buy the 5lb brick!

We're down there all the time. Uncle Maury and Uncle Kenny still live there. And we go camping at Cape Lookout State Park and Nehalem Bay State Park. The Tillamook Cheese Factory ice cream stop is a must!

Spend a lot of time wheelin, hiking and hunting in the Tillamook State Forest as well... Here is a pic of a 500 plus year old stump I found Elk Hunting one year. 43 feet in circumference without the bark, over 9 feet in diameter. I think this burned in the 1933 Tillamook burn!

This has become an interesting thread talking about Tillamook cheese. I don't know that I've ever seen it available down here in the South. I'm going to have to go find some just to try it out. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I really love pepper jack anyway.

I just googled Tillamook Cheese and found where I can order it online. WOW! What did we ever do before the internet?

My wife recently started hiking (three or so years now). I've gone along on some hikes with the group she's in. We've hiked Cape Lookout, Cascade Head(actually took a nap overlooking the ocean on the edge of the cliff, almost my favorite hike) Bay Ocean Spit, Cape Meares (light house), plus many more. I also hiked 3 Finger Jack.

Beautiful landscape.

As I get older I tend to cut the cheese when I'm hiking, sort of like a horse. It's even worse when I wake up from a nap.

I haven't tried the cheese but Kerrigold Butter is great. I'll have to look for the cheese. The butter is a bit more expensive than others. It's listed as "Irish Butter" on the box so I'm assuming it's an Irish process. It's a bit harder per temp than regular butter.

Kerrigold butter is the only brand we buy. Tillamook ice cream is divine. Always have a variety of cheeses on hand too

Mrs. Bee and I both enjoy our cabs and those exciting side effects

one of the few redeeming qualities of living out here.. she just brought home a 6 pak of delicious cabs yesterday.. rodney strong cab and la crema pinot noir are couple of my favorites from sonoma but that dreaming tree cab from norcal on the left is yummy..

I've never seen Tillamook ice cream. They must keep the good stuff over on your side. Maybe I can buy it online

The Kerrigold 1# blocks of cheese I buy all cost the same at the big grocery stores. We have three in my town. Let's say its $6. Where I like to get it is at the country market that is getting into it's 3rd generation. It's a meat market but a darn good grocery store stocked with good stuff. They sell it for $4 something. Goes to show all the smoke and mirrors used by these big grocers with their sales, club cards, Just4U, whatever. I thought the whole benefit "to the consumer" for having huge conglomerate corporations supplying our food was paying less through their buying more. This little mom & pop store can sell an item for about 25% less and they have less than 1% the buying power
