Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
All kidding aside, if you are in the Colorado Springs area and are in need/want of some exhaust work, stop in to "The Muffler Shop" and see Travis and Stephanie. They'll treat you right.

Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
After finishing up at the exhaust shop, Monroe and I headed towards home. On the way home, I decided to take a little detour. Monroe and I did a little advanced scouting of the venue for tomorrow's car show. He wanted to park the 67 but I told him getting to the car show 16 hours early is a little too early, even for an early bird.

Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
Woke up Saturday morning and couldn't find Monroe, so I headed out to the garage to load up some stuff for the "Last Saturday's" car show at Bass Pro Shops in Colorado Springs. Found Monroe in the garage buckled in to the back seat from the Blazer CST. Told him we were taking the 65 Chevelle today so he wasn't too disappointed.

Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
We got to the show a little before 7:30am and found our favorite parking spot still empty. I parked the Chevelle. Monroe helped clean the car a bit but said he was still a little jet lagged from his trip so he took a seat.

Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
My seat! I told Monroe the other chair was for him and he moved over.
We had a great show especially for late October in Colorado. This show with Bass Pro Shops has been a personal project of mine over the past 5-6 months so I was really happy with the 80-85 cars and trucks we had come out. I'd like to take the credit for the great turn out but I think the majority of the credit goes to Mother Nature and the warm weather. We have had 9 days of record high temperatures in October alone. Yay, car shows in fall and winter! Thanks global warming!!

Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
Sweet!
I have a project site at the intersection of Jamboree Drive and Circle. The view there is amazing. I think you can see pikes peak from there? At least, that's what I think I was looking at. If you've heard of "EchoPark" used cars, my firm has designed the sites in Thorton, Stapleton, Centennial, and Dakota Ridge (I did the Colorado Springs, Dakota, and Centennial sites.)

After a little nap, Monroe, my girlfriend and me headed to the Garden of the Gods to see some of the sights.

Some of the more current residences of the area. Monroe was a little nervous about being around.
