Maybe! I had a guy call about it today he has seen it at the transmission shop when it was there and asked if I would sell it and how much. I threw out what I felt like was a somewhat high price but good start for negotiating and he was all about it at my number... Maybe I priced it too low? I'd be making money off of it so idk. Either way though I'll be in the red one or the dually, and the dually will be pretty slick by then hopefully!

I got the carb back on tonight as well as new plugs, wires and a MSD cap and button. It really gets down when the 4 barrel kicks in now!
Here is a pic out on a test drive!

The really fun part about selling it and making money on it is you get to build another one and make it EVEN BETTER with all the toys!

LOL I'm saying buy another short bed and build it with all the toys.

Maybe im wrong but I dont think the longbeds go for much money restored unless they are 4x4 and loaded from the factory.

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

I have done that before..Shot out a number I thought was crazy, and somebody was all over it. You just have to do what you want. You have put a lot of work into that truck, and its awesome, but you may benefit from selling it. You could go over the top on a single truck, or have two really cool ones. What a tough call!! This is one of those deals where no one can say what's best but you, I guess. Either way, I will be happy for you and help all I can with whatever you end up with.

Thanks Matt! I think if he shows with the cash I'll take it. My wife and I are expecting our first child and it would be nice to have some extra cash in the bank plus some funds for the dually!

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

I'm feelin a dually build. Have you seen that one on the airbag thread that Dino63 built? One of my favorites of all time! I bet a little extra cash around for when the baby comes would be smart, too.

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

Love the truck/build looks great nice work. Probably missed it but what's the specs on the drop and tire size? You nailed the stance. I'm in the process of suspension and would love that setup.

Yes sir, plus just having one toy right now would make my wife sleep a little better. She just worries about paying insurance and all that on something that doesn't get driven much.

Thanks! the suspension set up is all from CPP products and the drop is 4.5" up front and 6.25" in the rear. It rides pretty good but I think the tires need to be a bit taller. It has 35 series tires on it and if I keep it I will go to a 40 series.

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

245/60/15 are the tires I ran on my 1967 GMC 4 1/2 front 6 inch in the back with a c notch. It cleared everything except for the hump to get it into the garage
