did the tailgate handle come with the truck ? been trying to locate a stainless one.

It's just a Chrome one from LMC. It's o.k. at best. If I could find and afford an OEM or NOS one in stainless, I'd be all for it.

I used 10mm line with straight fittings that were 12" long. Putting the suspension through the travel, this length seemed about right.

I just have to rebend one line, secure them in a few places and I should be done with the brake lines.

Glad you got it figured out!
I know I made a few purchases from Speedway Motors before I got all my brake lines done.
They have a very good selection of braided brake line fittings and hose.

I'm looking at the exhaust and was thinking of use Black Widow mufflers. Has anyone had any experience with them

They are a private label brand made by Gibson. I have no personal experience with Black Widow Exhaust, but have heard good things and know that Gibson makes a quality product.

Hushpowers are pretty quiet, compared to a Flowmaster, Magna Flow or Borla type sound. I had a set on my GTO, but I really wanted Flowmasters.... was really disappointed. If you want quieter than a Flowmaster, the Hushpowers still have a pretty cool tone, just not nearly as noticeable.

Unfortunately, no experience with Black Widow, or Gibson for that matter.

Thanks for the advice. I don't want quieter, I'm looking for a performance truck sound. I have flowmasters on my daily driver and like the tone.

Yep. Bought them for my Camaro project.

You'd love 'em. Be sure to buy the 304 stainless, over the 409 stuff.

Well, Just working on the parking brake and found out you can have a garage door company make a custom length intermediate cable with swage fittings, instead of ordering one.
