Re: Project: Turbo 250

Adam, Nice build. I was wondering, where did you get those cool indicators for the dash? The high beam and turn signal indicators. I need some of those for a build,
Thanks

They are off of the Honda motorcycles.... they are all pretty much the same, just different price and different bezels for them. I used the harness from a 2012 Rebel ($50 cheaper and is the same harness as the sabre) and the turn signal lights from the 2012 rebel and the high beam from a 2003 shadow sabre.... You will have to cut up the harness and wire it to your needs.

I was surprised at how much a couple pieces of trim really made a huge difference on how it looked!

Re: Project: Turbo 250

Well wrapped up the rest of the wiring that was preventing me from hitting the road last night , but now I wont be able to get the truck out of the garage out back until the weather cooperates as after the storm last night, I would get stuck just getting it out!

Re: Project: Turbo 250

I think I will just save it for after my 3 year comprehensive final of the Doctor of Physical therapy program on tuesday... it is supposed to warm up and dry off so weather should be good for the first drive... And it gives me time to do a quick front end alignment that I had previously forgot.

It really does. In person there is a LOT of spooling noise that doesnt come through the video. I will have to shoot one in HD soon.

Re: Project: Turbo 250

Finally Graduated! I'm officially a Doctor of Physical Therapy! My sister graduated with honors the same day with her B.S.

So after graduation I got the idle circuits on carb tuned and went for another test drive.
