Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

Currently have 'tweaked' Old-school sizing w/OE style caps. I'd like to do more updated/current sizing & 'period-correct' looking aftermarket wheels. But, off the shelf BS options on affordable wheels aren't what I feel would work best & I don't want to spend =/>1K a wheel to achieve my desired look.

Nice looking wheels. Did you convert to 5 lug or use adapters? And what is the backspacing?

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

US Mags. Ramblers. 17 x 8 with 4 1/2" backspace
225-60-17 and 255-60-17
I have about 1 1/2" tire clearance inside and outside on the back tires.
(I have a square body rear end, 3/4" wider each side than a stock rear)
2 1/2" drop spindles with stock, new 79 coils that might settle a bit yet? and 97-06 Jeep rear coils.
