Had to start it with a screwdriver but the PO gave me a new switch which i got installed last week. Body isn't in too bad of shape. I need tires, a carrier bearing, and some usual maintenance items, since it was sitting for 5 years.
I also have to replace the drip rails, and the wiring for the front park/turn signals and side clearance lights since someone cut them out. I kind of restored the grill but will eventually have to be replaced.
Got the tires replaced as well as the carrier bearing and all 3 U Joints. I feel much safer now. One major replacement I'm working on is a new 350.

Cleaned up the old 1987 for a shop truck - it’s been in the family since it was a year old - farm truck for much of its life

I recently picked up an original 84 slider window. Hoping to get that installed soon.

Here's my long bed.
It's an '89 but then, the big boys did go a few years longer than the little trucks, didn't they!

Currently looking for an Action Line truck, specifically 1969-1970, in very good condition. Longbed only, step or fleetside, or flatbed if C30. Must be unmolested (not modded).

Thanks. Looking at your truck, I can see why you like the color. Silver is contagious.
