Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Well got the front end closer to the ground tonight but still need some calipers and brake lines to finish up the front end, also put the new wiring harness in for the 350, fixed some wires and wrapped it up in new loom.
Also got the heads done the other day and cleaned up a bunch of parts, going to try and get all the parts and the roller cam this week but we'll see how it goes.. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Y'all have to at least get all the crew cabs running lowered first. Then we can take a pic of all 3 generations of our lowered crewcabs.

Man,those narrow rear doors make the fronts look huge. Never noticed that before.
Keep on. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
I understand.
I always wanted a 2 door tahoe. After owning one for 5 months now,I understand why they discontinued them. Too hard to access the rear seat. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
I know what you mean. When Holly and I first got married we had a 2 door car. We thought it worked just fine. Well after one Halloween night of constantly loading and unloading the kiddos, especially my youngest in her car seat, we figured out quick we needed something with four doors.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Yep. When I get the title back. I'm goin to sell this one. I'd rather have one in a lot better shape, more original, true patina, and big back glass. Yeah yeah I know good luck... But I've got enough on my plate in the meantime. And I kinda like buying cars and trucks that have been sitting out for awhile and putting them out there to give other people the chance to build something................
O and my wife HATES it! And Scott looking good! Now get to work!................ Just kidding! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Scored a nice dash today at pull-a-part and took it home and washed it off and cleaned it up. There were a small couple things different from the old harness and the one from the other parts truck i had so i went ahead and swapped out the harness but the new one was in better shape so its a win win. Got the dash in and looking halfway decent and would post some pics but my wife is playing a game on my phone and wont put it down long enough for me to get the pics off
Tried to put the steering column in but the bracket that bolts to the dash was a bit different so i need to find the other ones i have and see if i have a bracket that will work. Last edited by scotts62; 10-17-2010 at 11:02 PM. |
