Here's my '66 that I picked up end of summer. Haven't done anything yet because I was finishing a '70 beetle. It has a straight 6 250 with low miles since rebuild. Needs cab mounts, bed floor, obviously some body and paint work, and a bunch of TLC. Pretty sure this forum will be tired of me at some point, haha.

No, its the tail end of my 1962 GMC 4x4 waiting its turn. The NAPCO is a green color. Both are long beds.

Taken with before I started changing it up.

You can see here the dulled paint on box (scotchbrite pads + lestoil + barkeepers friend + tons of elbow grease) and detail of handpainted signage. Old gullwing box is one of my many winter projects.

One of the few pics I have of interior. Was bummed to see wrong seat back under cover. That and the speaker holes in the doors are really the only "modifications" that thankfully the truck has.

Hopefully by the start of Summer, I will be adding a rear bumper and pintle hook/hitch, the gullwing toolbox, a custom aux gauge cluster. I even have an old rotating orange hazzard light I am thinking about pole-mounting off tool box.

I am planning on polishing the mags i had on it originally and putting them back on for at least this summer to see what I like.

I like the dull paint , I use ajax to kill the gloss .
my truck had the same toolbox when I got it.
I took it off asap ..

Now I am confused. I assumed that the seat back was taken from a truck that had an option upgrade up from mine. I have seen a few pics where trucks had seat bottoms like mine.

Now I will have to spend even more time online trying to "research" these trucks.

Its listed in the GMC Data book as the "Interior convenience group RPO 0170." You get this seat cover (Like your seat back) RH Sunvisor,LH arm rest and fawn floor matt but they say it only comes with "Deluxe cab" which only means a two tone paint combination with standard white bumper,grille , or the Custom Cab which gets you the Chrome. Im assuming your truck is repainted at one time ???
