Thanks man, I actually created the patina but I'm glad you thought it was original! It means I did a good job!

Here is a link where you can see the process I used..

Its really neat seeing the difference in height between your lowered truck and stock, what a stark contrast its very cool.

Maybe! I had a guy call about it today he has seen it at the transmission shop when it was there and asked if I would sell it and how much. I threw out what I felt like was a somewhat high price but good start for negotiating and he was all about it at my number... Maybe I priced it too low? I'd be making money off of it so idk. Either way though I'll be in the red one or the dually, and the dually will be pretty slick by then hopefully!

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

I got the carb back on tonight as well as new plugs, wires and a MSD cap and button. It really gets down when the 4 barrel kicks in now!
Here is a pic out on a test drive!

Re: Rusbuilt's 68 C-10

The really fun part about selling it and making money on it is you get to build another one and make it EVEN BETTER with all the toys!

Yes sir! I want to start tearing into the dually but I know I'm gonna miss the short bed if I do sell it.

LOL I'm saying buy another short bed and build it with all the toys.

Maybe im wrong but I dont think the longbeds go for much money restored unless they are 4x4 and loaded from the factory.
