These were cleaned and restored for someone. Had a bit more cleaning to do on these guys. The previous owner had dyed these themselves, which put a lot of overspray in places it didn’t need to be. So after spending a good day on cleaning all that up and lubing the mechanics, they started retracting well again. Rust removed from all the metal parts. Repaired a few cracks in the housings. Lap belt had been cut away at some point, so I replaced it along with the lap buckle. Also found one of the buckle straps that had a chunk taken out of it, so replaced that with a good strap.
Emblems were replaced with better used parts. And New Aftermarket sleeves.

Here another set I have been working on for someone. These were sent out for new webbing, and just got them back.
These were built with NOS GM Buckles. New upper anchor covers.

This is a set of 81-87 Saddle Tan. These were cleaned, rust removed and freshened up with the correct color. Then they were temporarily reassembled and sent for NEW Webbing. They also received a new set of aftermarket sleeves.

For a single cab truck? I have sets, but they will probably not only need restoring, but most likely new webbing.
I do both, restore people belts that they send me. And then I also have my own stock of belts that I purchase just to restore for people in the case that they don’t have belts themselves.
If you go back and look thru the past posts, you’ll find a few sets of the 77-79 Blue that I have done for people. There is one set that did get New Webbing. The light blue webbing is hard to match, and the original color webbing is no longer available. So a darker blue was used, and they are with a seat that was done in the 77-79 blue, so you can see the belts with the seat and the color match.
All these were done for people in the past, so I don’t ever have any restored sets already completed and ready. I on,y do them when someone wants a set.

Why do you think you can’t the light blue interior, it is available. I’d keep it original, it’s a beautiful color.

I guess I misunderstood the availability of the light blue webbing as my belts will need new webbing and restoring.

If they need new webbing, then the webbing itself will be a little darker. The other parts on the set of belts is still the correct 77-79 blue. It’s just all the shades of light blue that they have for the webbing, none of them match very good. They are too bright in my opinion. This is the only one that looked the best.

I won’t post prices on this thread, mainly because every job is priced according to the set of belts and their condition, and what all they need done to them.

This is a set of 79/80 Camel Tan belts. These are going to be used for Bucket Seats, so the lap belt was eliminated. Good thing, that lap belt has some kind of chemical that must have gotten on the belt and literally “melted” the webbing. This spot was hard as a rock and could not get it out, whatever it was. One of the sleeves was busted, so I replaced it with a good part.
So the set was throughly cleaned, several times. Rust removed from all the retractor mounts and buckles. Emblems were replaced with better parts. Then they were freshened up with the correct Camel color. They had some areas of pretty bad fading. Added New Upper Anchor covers and dyed to match.

I didn’t even try . The small tear is on the carpet side so you have to be laying down to see it .

RARE Mystic 79-80 Color
This is a set that I acquired. Throughly cleaned, rust removed and freshened up with the correct color. Housings did have some dry patches. Sanded all the chalky off before cleaning, prep and color.
Buckles received new emblems. New Upper anchor covers and New Aftermarket sleeves.
Set was then sent for New Webbing!

Before and After on a set of the 1st Style 3pt belts for the 76/77. These were Blue and changed over to Black. Received New Black webbing, New Emblems and New Aftermarket sleeves. This set is going to be used with Bucket seats, so the center lap belt was eliminated.
