KQQL IT, I have a few pics of your truck at the track saved in my phone as inspiration. Can't remember where I found them, on the internet somewhere. It's awesome!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I agree I have the same problem, always liked 67-72's the most and had 7 of them but now have a square and just liking the lines. Man the right rims sure make a truck Killer.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I've been working on this for over a year now. Just got plates Friday.
Shortboxed the frame. Added second tank. Hidden hitch behind plate Rebuilt 350 with lumpy cam and 305 heads (I know, haters gonna hate, boo hoo). "Tamed" B&M shift kit and Hughes torque converter. 3" spindles, 3/4 of a coil cut off, flip kit. All poly bushings. Tremclad and a roller.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Nice!!!
Just curious, most of the flip kits I've seen dropped the rear lower than yours. What did you do different? I ask because yours is what I want mine to finish out like.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Exactly what I was thinking. I haven't done the flip to mine yet but my hope is that it doesn't drop it to low.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Cool! And thanks
Forgot to mention mine is a '77 Silverado. Chrome was long gone before I got it, hence the orange pinstripe.

Thanks for the flowers. Needs a few more details. Then maybe it'll get an Ls and a turbo to make it more fun to drive.
