IT LOOKS AMAZING! Still a lot of work to do but its really starting to look like a truck. You sure shut down the gold haters didn't you!
Been meaning to ask about your door weather strip. Did those things pack down any better? I've got the same rubber and am curious.

Nice! My email update put me a couple pages back and I saw your updated avatar. I couldn't read fast enough through those two pages to get to the assembled pics on the last page. Awesome! It's looking amazing!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Thanks everyone.....now a few questions for all of you smart guys !! Dumb me , i didnt know that the outer bolts were in different spots on the later model bumpers my front bumper brackets are about 5 inches to short !! the next one is my original re chromed 67-68 bumper guards dont come close to matching the contour of the front bumper , is this because it is a aftermarket bumper ? Would they fit right on a stock one ? Lastly i am missing a few small parts ... The little cap at the end of the steering column , i am missing the little wire ring/C clamp thing that holds that on, anyone have an extra and the pin that holds your shift lever into the column ? and the clips that hold your door lock cylinders in your doors ?

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Hey, are you going to air it out all the way? (LOL I had to).
I have a shift lever pin and will put it in the mail ASAP. I am not sure about the end of column parts or door lock retainers...but there is a good chance on both so I will look tonight. OH and by the way, I seem to have gotten a sudden and grave condition below my waist area which does not allow me to get up from my desk in full view of other persons, thanks to above mock-up pictures!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Clips for the door rods out of a van also work. Plentiful in the yards. Might also try the Dorman catalog, or the "clip guy" at your local quality bodyshop.
