Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!
1972 Chevy original short fleet. Started life as 6 and 3spd.
Built up in 1995 with swapped in V8 and automatic but needed some new blood injected into it. So I stuffed a 2015 LS3 and TR6060 into it which snowballed into a pile of other stuff. Z06 14" brakes, 4" and 6" drop on Hotchkis suspension blah blah Need to get a tune on it, finish up AC and some other details but pretty much ready to hit the street. |

Im really not a kit guy. Just used Wilwood clutch master. 3/4" bore if I recall. Works perfect. Lining up rod to master was hardest part and that was pretty easy. Drivetrain only has 20k on it but still swapped in new clutch. Just LuK replacement. Trans crossmember is a IFS. https://www.amazon.com/Ingenuity-Fab.../dp/B074L8YYY6 Good in fact that you can center the trans plus I couldn't make it for price they charge. Little rough out of the box but very slick piece. Has dual exhaust humps too. The actual trans mount I made and it takes a TH350/400 rubber or poly mount. Factory '15 Camaro piece was too high for the floor pan. Driveshaft is modded rear a 2002-03 Excursion 4x4 with slip joint. Couldn't see spending $1k for a driveshaft. |

87 spindles with hubs and caliper mounts from Kore3.
Tobin from kore3 is a great guy and super helpful. If you want big brakes that work, you can't go wrong. http://www.kore3.com |

L33 engine with a non usable 4l60e in it.
It is running (great), just need transmission rebuilt and it can move under its own power. Then just a few other small things and I can be driving it on the road, been a long 18 momths from where I started.

Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!
2006 LH6 out of an Envoy Denali. I bought the motor before I knew much about these, turns out they're a b*st*rd child lol. I just knew it was aluminum and that's what I wanted for my handling goals later on
- Gen4 aluminum block with knock sensors on the sides - Gen4 rods - 24X Gen3 timing system - Uses an E40 computer (only these, 04/05 GTOs and SSRs used that comp) - 799 heads (same as 243s) - TBSS style intake - 30lb injectors Originally (3yrs ago) it was thrown in with the 4L65E that came with it and a BTR Stage 4 V2 truck cam (.553/.553 224/230 109lsa) and LS6 springs. Then last fall I pulled it out for a reseal (rear main) and to swap to a T56. So since I didn't have to worry about converter walk anymore, I stepped up to the TSP Bald Eagle N/A cam (.600/.600 227/234 111lsa), double valve springs, a CHE trunnion kit and 50lb/hr injectors.

Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!
It's cool to see this thread resurface. I have one to contribute. I LS swapped this 72 GMC within the last year and have been driving it for a few months now. It's a 2004 LM7 with a 2002 NV3500 transmission. I did not rebuild the bottom end or heads but I did update, replace, and clean pretty much all the auxiliary items. I used many "LS swap" parts as well as some custom made bits and pieces to make everything work. I have extensive details on everything in my build thread.

Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!
Man that looks good! Makes me wish I'd painted the whole motor orange instead of just the block. Pretty sure I saw you roll into Fall Revival, that thing looks great!
