That truck you posted is a Pacific Truck right? I watched a few videos of those on youtube. Pretty neat.

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
Yep, it's a Pacific. One hella truck right there, ey? That yellow truck is a real stand-out. Even with a V8?? How cool? I'd have to go back and look at the picture, but I think it's a '57, so could be a 283. Either one is just cool. I would restore that all original. It appears to be more like one to "pretty up" than need an actual restoration. She's aged beautifully. I like the fade on the paint and all! Sounds like it's in good hands and won't be turned into a just another goofy pickup truck... I hope

I don't think I've ever commented on that fine car hauler you operate. Mighty fine

Cool pictures.
Really like that Pete in the first picture. That '61 L-70 sure is in nice shape.

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
Pretty decent late L-model yet. Some great pictures added. Last Tuesday out on I-70 I saw one sweet truck after the next. I only run about 20 miles, but I must have seen a dozen assorted obviously well put together well cared for owner/operator or small fleet rigs. Not all together and hauling different trailers, but I mostly recall covered wagons and grain haulers, like Timptes. A few Curtain-sides

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
That don't make-em like that anymore, so that's old (and it's a shame they stopped). Sixteen years of workin' can make a truck look ruff, unless you treat it right. I've always liked the service/lube trucks an outfit needs that runs equipment.

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
This thread is so big I'm not sure I ever posted these. They were from Carlisle Trucks '07 and maybe I only showed them in that thread way back when. Anyway, Trucks are beautiful and I sure am glad there are owners who feel that way
Shiny new heavy equipment ain't so ugly either

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
My father took this pic of a 54 fire truck from a customer of his.
I met the guy weeks later. He stopped me while leaving my yard in my 54. We got to talking about my truck and come to find out he knew me father. It's A Small World. This little gem I see every day. I finally took the time to get pics.
