Re: How about some pics of 99-06

I need to look into those stickers. I need to remove the rest of the chrome, just been a little lazy, I moved last week and haven't felt like doing much else. It is better than when I first bought it, it had chrome handles and mirrors and the factory 17's on it.

Re: How about some pics of 99-06

Well I wasn't quite as lazy today and pulled off my fender trim and running boards and gave it a bath. Sometime in the next 2 weeks I am going to pull out the lift blocks in the rear and decrank the front to give it a little rake and then wait until the summer and put some 20's on it and probably a 2/4 drop depending on how I like the way it looks with the 20's.

And one more without the bug shield. It's getting the blocks out from underneath it sometime this next week.

TBSS replicas. Factory Reproductions makes replicas of the TBSS 20s in 20" and 22" for the 6x5.5" lug pattern (TBSS uses a 6x5" pattern)

I lowered it 4/6 with a DJM flip kit in the rear and LCAs in the front.

Yep they are TBSS 20x8 replicas but they only make the 22s in the right pattern so I had to put wheel adapters on to make them work on my truck. I didn't want 22s case I wasn't sure how a even lower profile tire would do with a trailer hooked to it or a bike in the bed..

Re: How about some pics of 99-06

This is what it looked like about 3 weeks ago when I bought it

Then I took off the molding, got new door handles, lowered it, and new wheels and tires all in one weekend.

Lowering it 3/5 as soon as the burb is solidly on the road.

Looks good, I say 3/6, the tail end needs to come down a bit more on RCSB's IMO. Curious why you did a speed density tune on an otherwise stock seeming 4.8?

Re: How about some pics of 99-06

I'm actually debating how low I should actually go with it, I might only go 2 in the front. I do agree, it does seem like the rcsb trucks have more rake, especially the stepsides.

For the tune, mainly because I like working with it. I also think the throttle response with a SD tune is slightly better. I wouldn't attempt it on a vehicle I don't own though, it's insane how many tweaks you go back and do on these things to get them right, no two trucks are the same, either...
