hey, you can't bugger around with their broom handles. How are they going to be able to fly if you shorten up their handle. your supposed to have your own handle (left over from all those stripped out shop brooms).

it sounds like the noise is at valve train speed, have you checked the compression ?? is the engine high mile ? I would assume that it has a bad hydraulic tappet or a broken part in the valve train

if you cant figure it out, get really good at welding and cut 2 motors in half and weld it up. Use some 4043 and tig it.
