Medium Blue CST is getting some attention. Bucket seats upholstery removed to evaluate frames and foam.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Started fixing a previous door repair around the upper hinge, or what someone considered a repair anyway.... They scabbed a piece in from another truck and tried to weld up the rusty junk and blew hole through it everywhere... Looks like they were pretty persistent trying to keep filling in back in.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Finished the engine swap in mine, put in a 350 in place of the 307.Runs good now.Took the pan off the 307 with the oil pan down on the engine stand.Found lots of metal shavings in the pan,3 wasted rods and the crankshaft is tore up.I may rebuild this one if I find a good 307 crankshaft.A friend of mine has a cousin that may have one.The Machine shop I deal with has 3 good 307 rods, told me $20.00 for them and said deal.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Dropped off my 72 to a local old school body shop 2 weeks ago.83 k original miles in remarkable shape but a lot of dents. 1 owner blazer. PO used it for a work truck from new .I did all the rust repair and now the Shop is stripping down to bare metal.pulling dents and blocking it out. Going to be medium olive green. He said hopefully base clear paint in a couple weeks.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

this winter I put a 700R4 and put in new interior, I would like some feed back on both, how do you feel about changing the turbo 350 for a 700r4 and what do you think about interior. My blazer is a 2wd Highlander so I'm slowly trying to make it look stock, I know the color is not stock but will be when I'm done. I know there are people who have seen Highlander interiors first hand so your opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Well....today I took off in my jimmy and the swing away spare carrier must not have beem fully latched and it certainly swung away....all the way around and dented the passenger bed side. Dent can probably be removed by a paintless dent removal guy but it cracked the paint.....doh!!

Converted a passenger side truck door to a Blazer door - remarkably easy!

Test drove my Jimmy today, the first time that I have had it on the road in 4 years and three months. This time it had brakes!

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Simple little mod....added a USB charging port in place of the lighter...
I used the existing lighter bezel....just had to bore it out to 1.125 dia.
Greenlee chassis punch to enlarge the hole in the dash...makes a nice clean hole...
