Looks like a Stacy David type of Cut... Nice work... Slide it all together... make sure you are square and level then weld away...

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

The last of the fuel lines are now out! It was a bit of an annoyance but I managed to remove these without resorting to cutting or even bending.

I am a bit fearful of putting the new ones back in, just because it was so much hassle getting the old ones out and I'm even considering using braided steel lines for replacements but I think I can do this.

Finished installing Alan Grove power steering pump bracket. Now I have better clearance between the pump shaft and the alternator belt.

Man, what an improvement over the Grant. Love the three gauges under the dash. Classic look!

Finally everything is bolted on.fuel lines , new power steering hoses and new belts installed. Vacuum lines next, and then on to core support and body panels so electrical has a place to lay.

I got mine on eBay. Look up Alan Grove web site. They come in bare metal. You have to plate or paint them. I had to open up the two holes that attach the bracket to the front of the block to get it all bolted together. Kind-of a PIA in that location with the engine installed.

EDIT....I bought it on Amazon.

Installed a new Sony head unit with bluetooth! I'm ready for the Power Tour now. Just have to figure it all out and how to use it. I have the Iphone stuff figured out pretty good I think.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Did this...

http://youtu.be/vAaT_juP-Ms

Took it for a little longer cruise around the area later that day, only to run out of gas, and collapse my fuel filter.
Still have some fine tuning on the carb, and some issues inside the steering column to address.

Its getting there.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I spent $50.00 dollars and bought all the tubing, hoses, and most of the clamps I need for the fuel line replacement. Lucked up and caught the tubing 1/2 off! I still need the extra filter and a couple more clamps.

So, it didn't pass inspection. failed because of one ball joint and there's no windshield washer.
