All buttoned up, a few things to take care of on the bottom and put fuel cap in.

Wow. The bed wood turned out great. Congratulations on your sons marriage. Any bride that wants and old truck in their wedding is a keeper.

Is there undercoating or bedliner under the bed and in the wheel wells? Or just paint?

The bottom of the wood has 2 coats polyurethane, the wheel wells and inside of side panels has lizard skin coating.

Craig,

Just read through the entire build. Great work and way to stay strong through the tough family issues. One thing I just read about is the AN fittings you are using to connect to the regulator. Apparently, the ones with the plastic inserts are know to fail, spraying fuel everywhere and causing fires (no bueno). They have been updates to two piece metal ones. I just returned mine and got the new style.

Bad ones - Amazon.com: Russell 640853 -6 AN Male to 3/8" SAE... Amazon.com: Russell 640853 -6 AN Male to 3/8" SAE...
Good ones - Amazon.com: Russell 644123 -6AN Male to 3/8" SAE... Amazon.com: Russell 644123 -6AN Male to 3/8" SAE...

Thanks for the heads up Jim I appreciate it. I had to change the regulator which now has threaded connections. The only place I have the connection you showed is to the fuel rail and I already have the ones you showed for that. Thanks again,

Nice, I'm using the red version of their FPR. What were you using before that prompted the change?

The below was the original setup, it runs at 58psi I think, supercharger I added needs 66psi.

Cool. Just making sure. I'd hate to see that beautiful ride go up in flames.

Some might be wondering why am I working over the new carpet, that is a low hump carpet I ordered years ago before I change to a high hump. So figured I would use it, it's much more comfortable to lay on.

First, does anyone else have gremlins in their shop that hide parts you ordered or saved years ago

Started putting the doors back together tonight:

Yeah... I thought I did,, but it always seemed to find the parts where I left them years ago.. normally in a spot that I wont forget...

I'm told its the 5th sign of senility..............
