This truck " Project Shifted." The one that I saw had a white roof now that I realize this one doesn't. You've got a twin running around.

I haven't seen it, but I'll keep an eye out.

Re: Project "Shifted"

Finally got a little more work done on the truck. I almost have the Hill's Rod and Custom inner wheel tubz installed, so I had to drop it on the ground and snap a few pictures. Here's a couple of pictures of it at ride height and laid out.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Thanks Scoti. It's been slow going and the Tubz have kept me somewhat distracted. I need to push to get this done no later than the spring. Are you ready to try a set of tubz yet, .

I'll definitely hit you up when my 67 comes up in the build rotation. I think they'll compiment the Hills front units nicely (& save me some work!).

Thanks Bill! I enjoyed it also, wish I could have stayed longer. Hopefully next year will be a little less busy on my end.... Take care.

Here are a couple pics of the tailgate and filler pieces painted. I plan on picking up the bed this weekend, one step closer....

Thanks Moose! While installing the Hills front Tubz, I decided to build some filler pieces instead of just cutting the factory fender. I know, I know....that's why this thing keeps taking so long......here's a few more pictures.

Re: Project "Shifted"

Looks slick! Did you just use the profile of the Hills fender to get the shape? Also, what's the install plan? Is this a direct replacement for the piece of original metal you show or will you cut it down and weld it in with that same piece?

Awesome work!

The filler pieces look good! Did you use two bucks for differences on left and right?

Thanks! Yes they match the Hills fenders. I will weld them back in to replace the pieces I cut out.
