Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Fremont is in the east bay, nor cal. It is actually the city right next to me. the plant there is NUMMI (New United Motors Manufacturing Inc). It used to be GM. My truck is from Fremont too.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Is there any way to get production numbers from that plant. I have a lot of strange options and would like to research my truck. Thanks for the info, Shane.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
I have no idea how you would go about finding info. This is the current website for the plant though.
http://www.nummi.com/ It has changed since it was GM a while ago, but you can try and see if anyone there can help you out or point you to where you need to go.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Yo wassup? This is my 67 small window CHEVY It's actually me second one.I love the 67/68,just dope man! I have BIGG PLANS for it,in the up & coming years. I think Dean Sears(black 68) set the standards for these trucks, also Danny Navarro(red 68). They have this other Green one thats featured in SPORT TRUCK(september 2003)issue,the guy is from Mesa AZ.man, that thing is FRESH!! His name is Manny Navarro, just crazy! Well from my stand point, that's the 3 finest i've seen,so i gotta reach that status with mine!

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Bought this mostly done. Previous owner did all the hard work. I just insulated the cab, lowered it (rebuilt front end suspension, spindles, 3in springs), R200 O/T trans, new back window, stereo & tonneau cover. I also changed the headers and had them cut a hole in the crossmember to keep the single 3inch exhaust tucked up. Need to remove gas cap (fuel tank/cap in bed), antenna, maybe sidemarkers too & 1 piece windows (or replace vent window rubber as a lot of windnoise). Paint is faded and needs to be redone, thinking of another color. Pretty much all cosmetic stuff now.
