Dang that turned out sweet! I have to ask, just 'cause I don't see them..... are the O2 sensors in there somewhere?

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

The o2's are in there for sure! They are just below the flange on the manifolds. About 6 inches or so back from their normal location. I had to move them because the would touch the bottom of the cab in the stock location.

Where did you get the flanges for your exhaust guy to work off of? Did he weld in the O2 bungs as well? I am putting a 5.3 in my '67 C-10 and I am having a hard time locating the flanges.

He opened up the factory flanges to 3 inch. He welded the o2 bungs in as well.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

Thanks guys. Not alot new here recently but I did do a couple side jobs this week to help with funding. My little one saw me working and had to go get the gloves out and was actually trying to "help" tighten the tire on the CRV I did brakes on. Just thought I'd share. Yeah I'm a proud papa!

I may have missed it somewhere, but what are you going to do for wheels now that you traded them off?

I gave him my rallys. I think he's gonna put some smaller tires on them. He'll probably chime in here soon

Great pics with the boy! Mine thinks my cordless impact and ratchet are his now. LOL if he's around anything that's done with either of them he has to assist, or you have to assist him. Not sure which way it is.

That's awesome that he dives in like that! When my daughter was younger, she was all about diving in and helping. But, now she is to busy to play with my "ole junk" . The great thing is that she wants an old 47 up round fender Chevy for her first car though

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

Finally got the 86 clip back on my truck. Had the core support powder coated and blasted and painted the little things semi-gloss black. Need to order my body mount kit because the cab mounts are sagging enough that the core support is about 1/4 inch from the frame with the fenders aligned like they are. Also found out that the R/F fender is a garbage aftermarket and thats why the gap on the fender to door is off a little. I will be replacing the R/F door and fender with NOS or rust free used stuff once I get everything else done.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

That grill looks really good, is it new? Nice work on the core support too.

Oh yea, cool pics of your kid helping you out. Wish I would have started mine wrenching a lot younger, maybe he
would like it more?
