Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Heres what $2000 bucks gets you from a 90 year old german. he said with an accent "I use it to pull stump on my property". and i thought stump puller was just a saying. all original 350, 4 gear, 373s, np205. BONE STOCK! I added a malory hei, electric fan and replace the fabbed bumpers with reproduction ones.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Just picked this '72 Blazer 4x4 up last week. So far, just cleaned it up a little, but I'll be doing a quick resto on it. 2-4" lift, 33-35s, clean and detail the suspension, interior, fix any rust and then re-paint the original Hugger Orange on it.

Sold my 84 Shortie and bought my 72 last month. It is a blast driving around in an old K5! Lots of plans... Should I lift it or should I not?????

Im on the opposite side of town (35 & Judson) ... if you do any work on your blazer send me a message. I am not a mechanical person, but now that I have my beast, I have been trying to watch and learn more often.

I'm glad to see this thread revived.

Here is a shot of my beater. Ripping the drivetrain out this weekend for a 6.0/4L60E swap.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

There are some fine rides on here. Here is my new ride. Bought it on Friday. Original Texas K5 CST. One family truck with all documentation and records. Sat in a garage for the last three years. Been wrenching on it some everyday. I call it "IT". I tell people I found IT. I will post more later with progress.
