Gen III production started in 1997 as an RPO LS1 for the Corvette.

For the first time in forever, not a single 67-72 Chevy truck, Blazer, or Suburban on the property! Basically retired and getting the new Motorhome ready for some traveling. Doing a bit of work on the house getting it ready to sell! LOL!!

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the Gen III engines, in general. GM actually introduced AFM in the 1981 Cadillacs. There was a "redesign" to the LS engine platform in 2004 and, in 2005, AFM was an option with the 5.7 Vortec engine as well as the LS engine family.

It's easer to change the motor mounts to make the headers fit. Here's what I did, but not finished with it yet. Just an idea for ya.

That would be a ton easier but the manifolds i have hit the frame and from the measurements others are giving me it is not looking good

Guess i have to find a place to buy the axle tabs and bushings, seems ************* site is acting weird and dont trust giving info on there and they have the best selection that i have found so far...

Welders series out of Canada has been good to order from. They probably have what you need.
