Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"

Well good news is I had a very productive weekend with the R and D on the 60-66 Slosh Tubz !

Bad news....I don't want to post any pictures until they are completed !

Our plan is to have them into production by early summer so stay tuned !

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"

Here is a little progress, so as I said I was working on the new Slosh Tubz so I had to do quite a bit of fender trimming and after that was done it left the the LMC Truck fenders a little flimsy feeling so I welded in some nice 1/4 rod to finish it out nicely.

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"

then I went to work on widening the bed, after test fitting the bed I realized that the beds on these trucks are 5/8 narrower then the cab...I just couldn't handle that so I unbolted the LMC Truck front bed panel / spread the bed 5/8 on each side and welded it up solid. I also welded the metal in smooth where the bed sides lap over, just to give it a finished look. I am totally pumped about the way this came out !

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"

then I went to work gapping my widened LMC Truck rear wheel tubs so Gary Angel of Street Driven Customs wont be yelling at me when he goes to start all the body work ! I also worked on getting all the bed mounts dialed in, that will be finished tonight, then I get to start working on the hinged bed floor !

I really like the look of the widened bed. It makes it look so much more balanced.
