Re: Hazel the older Sister....

i made my front as high as i thought i could in case i win the lottery some time and can get some billet wheels made, unfortunately when i originally raised the bed floor i wasnt planning on going this low...so if i ever get 22's the back of mine will hit the top of the inner fenders before it lays out !!

You can't see them but we have over 20 cabinets FULL of JD toy tractors with original boxes dating back to God knows when. My Dad has had custom plows made that cost as much as a set of really nice wheels......when we show them to youngsters they go crazy! This doesn't include what's in the house.....you think I have a problem you should meet my Dad, at least I can say I got it honestly.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

Glad to see you still have the rambler. Man I love that car, have you been enjoying it much? Earlier in this thread you said you travel alot for work, what do you do for a living? if you don't mind me asking. Great work on the truck, I stared at the core support and radiator cover this morning for it seems like an hour. I reall like the clean and simple style your cars/trucks have.

So glad to see the rambler is still in the stable very simple understated bad ass car.. As far as the new wheels go the only question I have is are they one -off"s or just 22"s

Every truck I've owned has had one of those stickers at one point or another.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

I remember that well on Lucy, especially since I looked those pictures over more than a few times.

My family bleeds JD through and through, with a large collection of toys from many moons ago; not to mention their large scale counterparts.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

Made a little progress on the truck this weekend, finished loosely installing the rear kit. I'm now ready to set the pinion angle and weld on the lower bag mounts. After I get this done I'm going to rebuild the rear end and paint it. I also painted the top of the grill to match the engine compartment and stuck it on the truck so I would knock it over (again). I had to modify the tank and make some mounts to work around the rear kit but it should be good to go now.

Sorry but I don't buy anything from LMC (I've had issues with them in the past)........I've had those headlights for about 10 years and I've had them in at least 4 of my cars (I always pull them before I sell the vehicle).
