I'm liking that flyswatter mirror with the REAL stainless camper mirror in the reflection in the glass.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Looks like a pretty decent unmolested 1970 C-30 Longhorn CST/Custom Camper with lots of options (plus added tilt and tach) and a big block in need of some engine work. $12,000. BUT... What's an electronic title? I found the answer. See the edit below.
https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/c...293571888.html

"1970 Chevy C-30 Longhorn
Custom Camper 30 CST
402 Big Block
Turbo 400 Transmission
Rear wheel drive
1 Ton

This truck runs and drives but needs work. I had a local mechanic take a look at the engine and he told me it needs to be rebuilt. I have the paperwork from the mechanic. Body is in good shape. Has aftermarket tow hitch and trailer brake system. With all of the options this truck is rare but is priced to sell. Sold as-is. Electronic Title. True mileage is unknown. Clean title. Cash or cashiers check."

EDIT: Here's what I found regarding electronic titles in Arizona.
"Electronic Titles Are Here—Safe, Secure, Convenient
No more paper
When you title or register a vehicle in Arizona, your title information is stored electronically and you no longer automatically receive a paper title. You can view your title information in your AZ MVD Now(link is external) account. Similarly, when you pay off a vehicle loan, the title will be held electronically.

If a paper title is needed, for reasons such as moving out of state, you can use the Title Replacement service on AZ MVD Now(link is external). The fee is $4."

Good eye. N18 is the mid-70 model year predecessor to the NL2 option folks are more familiar with in 71-72. Interestingly, have seen only a few pics ever related to N18, one showed it with an NL2-style cap in the REAR bedside, and the factory documentation I have shows it with the flapper doors like this 70 (and I'm not 100% certain the documentation I have is N18-specific, but it is dtd May 70 and is GM documentation on saddle tank installs). Dealers could also install aftermarket vendor saddle tanks, but this truck has the N18 RPO as you've highlighted, so it arrived from the factory with the predecessor to the NL2. You may find some more useful discussion on N18 here and here.

68 C10 Stepside $13.9K
The "90% rust-free" statement makes me wonder what is painted or bondo'ed over. Might be worth inquiring if interested - but, I look at it as a good sign that the seller is even stating that considering how clean it looks. Always a good thing to get the impression you're dealing with someone that is up front about warts.

It looks nice, the price isn't that bad by today's standards.

A lot of work done on that. But, too much green for this old guy. Someone is going to love it though.

I sure like this old bird - and one of my favorite exterior/interior trim combos - love the two-tone vinyl blue 69 bench with the dark blue door panels, etc against the 507 light blue.

Buyer beware on this one, i inquired, and received lots of pictures. Has rust in the bottom rear of both front fenders, and possibly starting in a few rocker spots. I called him out on it. Here’s is reply. I hate dishonest sellers.

yer right Joe, obvious lie written in description;

No rust at all not even in the usual places

damn shame but some folks just ain't got any scruples.. sorta makes it difficult to believe any of the rest of the ad..

just a quick peek, looks like most of the sellers trader ratings are parts, supplies, housewares, etc. often as the buyer and several by repeat members, hmmm

so not sure how many cars/trucks they've actually sold but these recent reviews describe substantially more than minor discrepancies - I would handle with extreme caution and only buy in person or your trusted local rep
