Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

Hey Guy's, small update:
If you remember the cooler I redid awhile back and had the front pinstriped I still wanted to have some work done on the back of it(was very unfinished looking) So I was at a car show with a few friends a few weeks back and had a Guy at the show do some work. The concept was to take it to several shows and have several stripers add to the cooler and showcase their work.
(If Kees wasn't SO far away I would love some work done by him!)

Mark, you make me blush....
But I would love to stripe for you!!

I have great contact with Doug, I'm going to visit him in the future...I hope.
Almost went on the Hot Rod Power Tour with Doug and Cindy and friends!
When we, my wife and I go there, we drive just a few hours further and come visit you too
We arrange some One Shot and brushes and there we go! ( Maybe we should do an American Tour )

Your cooler is nicely done, very, very cool!!!

Ps.....you can always send me parts to stripe

Anything done to Orange Peel lately??
Or "just" customers work for you?

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

That is true, however the shop I have at my house has no Air compressor, insulation or heat so it's difficult to get anything done. The other shop At Dads is my main shop I do work out of.

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

Well after a Long lapse I have finally got back to work on the truck.
Pic. #1. Started on mocking up the Dagmars, the truck is at ride height and the bottom of the Dagmars will sit at 4 1/2 off the ground. The mounting system will be the same as the rear bumper (using round tube) smaller tube slides inside a larger tube and a bolt slides through the 2 pipes and locks them together.

Pic #2. A view from the front, so how this works is tube A is welded to the back of the Dagmar and slides through a hole in the grill (between the bars) and into the larger tube B and is pinned together.

Pic #3. Here is the Dagmars all in place and will start on the center bar next.

Sorry for lack of pictures I lost 2000 pics from my phone so will get more later.

Mark
