Man I'm jealous! Have you guys done bodywork and paint before? I've done some backyard crap and some painting of industrial equipment, but am for sure a "first-timer" when it comes to painting my own restore! Yours is looking stellar and I'd be happy if mine comes out nearly as sweet. Props to you, your Pops and your Bro. That reflecto-pic with the America tee-shirt is priceless!!! I'm way looking forward to some more Youtube of your trick 10!

Hey thanks a lot! My brother and I hadn't done any bodywork or paint before, but my dad built a '57 Austin Healey 3000 a loooooong time ago. He's leaving all that stuff up to us though.
But hey, it's only paint! With enough time, trial and error, patience, and work, you can get something to be proud of. I'll try and get another video soon!

lol crap I've gotta get on it!
Went to Outback today to get mostly everything I'll need for the internals of the doors including vent window parts. I've decided to try and rebuild my original vent windows because repops are $$$$$$...plus I've heard you can't get ones that are true to '67 (glass is different).
About to go try my luck with these vent windows..........let's see how this goes

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window

Sorry for the lack of updates. The vent windows should be done tomorrow. The original '67 vent glass looks perfect when polished up. Replaced all rubber and felt channels. I'll post before and after pics of those tomorrow. We should also have the other side glass in tomorrow with the new regulators and the doors should be mostly done.
Also tore into the bed a few days ago to get it completely apart and ready for blasting.
Here's the bumper that I picked up today...it looks awesome! The bumper brackets are the originals that I blasted, primed, and painted gloss black. It's on the truck right now but I still have to put on the larger brackets and get it all centered. It looks INSANE (to me at least). Also, It's a little less than 9.5" from ground to bumper.

I found out that my driver's side larger bracket needs to be modified because it does not clear the ps box...but yea. I'm pretty excited.

Picked up some steel door panels from Outback today. I'll probably upholster them to match whatever I do with the seat, but I'm also thinking about painting them red...
I've been removing the undercoating from my bedsides with a wire wheel and it is probably one of the more fun things I've done....................1 down, 1 to go.
Like I said, all side glass should be in today so I'll put up those pics later.

Thanks man! It's lining up alright for the most part. Driver side is a little low so I might shim it up? We had to shim up the core support a tiny bit for the door gaps to be right and the grille and chassis are even from side and so are my bumper brackets but for some reason it's still a little low...You know what the really weird part is? The driver side of the bumper measures as being 1/4" higher than passenger side......

Thanks I think so too! I probably sat out there and just looked at it for 30 min.

Thanks! Well the doors are turning out to be a little trickier than I had hoped...I had taken pictures of the whole process taking them apart but cannot find those anywhere. Here are some pictures of the mostly completed driver vent window. We've decided to put the glass in after they are both installed. My dad's gone with the before pictures on his camera so I'll post those up when he gets back.

Also got the other bed panel cleaned of the undercoating and notched out the bumper bracket to clear the ps box.
Can anyone tell me if the vent window or other window should go in first??
