Ok, here is my 77 step side, I have owned it and used it on the farm since 1994. Still use it on the farm today, but no street driving as I no longer plate it. It came from the factory with a 250 six and 4:10 rear gears and HD springs. 350 auto trans.
I had contemplated doing a restoration, as I had good luck with my Dads 83 long bed that I did a couple years ago, but I am afraid this one is too far gone. You know it is bad when you lose a 20 foot long chain that was laying in the passengers floorboard!! |
