Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Looks great! Nice work on the install of the glass. It was easier than I thought too, but I had bmerdoc's help and he had just done his.....honestly with fresh, glosst paint it would have slipped into place easier with the foaming window cleaner....with my pating/rough frame it took a bit but in the end it looks great!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Windows look great. I watched the vid too very nice how to from precision. I really like the front glass without the tint strip it looks very clean in a truck with show quality interior. Might need some tint in my rag-a-muffin truck

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
I put 3M anti-chaf tape on the hinges where paint is against paint to keep it front rubbing or scratching , you can see it in a couple of the pics where the door is on the stand

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
old school tricks...adjust doors at front out as much as possible and still be lined with rocker and windshield post ...window down..look at the "push" on door rubbers when u close the door ...U will usually see places tighter than others...especially above and below latch....pull off seal in that area and "softly rubber hammer" the pinch weld inward...doesn't take much to make a difference...this is where the push on rubbers are a savior....They are still going to be tight but should be able to get "closure"...some will tell U to move striker plate but that works only until door missaligns with cab...have fun buddy...wait till I show U the ring brothers handles and what i had to do to get the unlatch and unlock mechanics to work!!......jim

Incredible work Mike! It's going to be a shame to put the bed on now and hide all that work!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Your truck is looking very nice! I just had the same dilemma with door seals and had to readjust my doors too since I had no seal on my cab since February. And holly sponsors bat man! Great job on lining all those up! That's incredible!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Looks fantastic! Also to add on the door seals...did you leave a slight gap at the miter where they meet? Supposed to allow air out....see if they are easier to shut with the windows open first....might be how tight they are.....
