Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
What are the plans for this engine, Mike? A can of gunk and freshening up, or are you going to build it up some?
*edit * n/m finally caught up. Great buy!

Mike, congrats on the eninge fine. A friend just picked up 2005 5.3, trans and computor with 81,000 miles for $1200, which I thought was a great deal. Your front end looks great, my son and I installed one of their units in a 32 F**d, and it looks super...Jim

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
thats a real steal of an engine , i informed once about a truckversion of a 6.0 (LQ) and the guy wanted 5000 euro
sure would safe some cash to live in the states where those engines are a little more common

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
probably was power washed...when I got my 5.3 it was pretty clean then we degreased and power washed it and it looked brand new.
