Lol I have so many backyard ideas that I execute quite well. And when I'm done you would have no idea what I actually did to get the truck looking the way it does. I guess this is how you learn "tricks of the trade"!

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Your truck is an accident magnet.
It's almost like your truck has a mind of it's own, it's like Mayhem on the allstate commercials, she's like snickering as she steps infront of a VW, talking about lets see how he handles this one

Gotcha, rebuilt units from O'Reillys are like $125 and come with a lifetime warranty. Thats where I got mine.

That's exactly what I'm gonna do. We got one for my 68 and it steers really nice! So I'm gonna do the same for the 67.

She looks great, but you need to replace the air freshener with some red fuzzy dice

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Well it's been tough trying to track down the perfect 327.... And I know that when your not looking for something then that's when you'll find it. So with that being said I have decided to take the perfectly good and strong running 350 I have and take it apart freshen it up a bit and then give it a orange overhaul and put that in the truck instead. I've also found a guy with a 3:73 posi rear axle that I might be able to trade my carrier for his! So a possible posi coming up and the 350 will go in before the end of this year if I have my way.

That would be a good deal on the posi. That's what I did with the 350 that I got, took it apart and detailed it.
