Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Steel wheels can't be milled down to 22" from 22.5" and it is very dangerous to stretch a 22" low profile tire on a 22.5" rim. I really wanted to go this route too because I like the steel wheels too!

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
I've done a lot of research. They guy to talk to is Trevor at Tennessee wheel and tire. He has been talking to a company about making 22" steel wheels but no luck yet.

I have seen some of these myself, I know the hub is different but I'm sure if you wanted to run them you could have your adapters made to match those hubs.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Sorry guys just been collecting parts and planning, nothing picture worthy. I have two other projects I'm working on in the shop right now. A 67 and a 66 both are for customers; plus my construction business is booming! I am slammed with work! I do however hope to have some updates in the next few weeks though.
You can follow the 67 build here! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=579121

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
I just got your email Todd. Those are pretty nice looking beds but I have one now. I bought one from board member Twangismythang out of Memphis. Chuck and I drove down to get it awhile back. Thanks for thinking about me though!
