Boy, are you ever going to be mad (after all you did for that fellow who purchased you truck), if the Leafs ever beat the Canes in the playoffs. Wait a minute...................you're ok.......that will never happen. What was I thinking. The Leafs haven't made it to the first round in seven years.

Test fit my new 22 inch steelies on both trucks. Decided they make them look like crop sprayers and will need major lowering and fender widening.

contacted a guy on craigslist about a set of 22 inch tires for my wifes 02 suburban, when i went to look at them he had another set still mounted on black 6 lug steelies. i told him i would give him the asking price for the ones already mounted rather then the ones advertised. they are 22x9, looks likethey have 2009 or new gm tire pressure sensors. i painted them with ppg spectraflame/ hotwheels antifreeze green.

the black 48 gmc truck is on a 2000 4wd chevy tahoe chassis and drivetrain. the grey chop top 49 gmc is all original except the top. 48 wouldnt set all the way down due to fender, 49 is sitting on the ground but rust build up around the base of the hub( or 3 inch center bore is too smal) prevented the wheel mounting flush agianst the drum and studs are too short for a spacer small spacer that would make it roadworthy.

Very, very nice 235. NOT fault finding but I'd suggest you put something on the exhaust manifolds so they don't rust/crust up and ruin the beautiful look of that. Eastwoods has a brush paint that is supposed to cure with heat and look like a new casting. Have heard good things but never used it. Congrats, niiice engine

Here is what the POR exhaust looks like put on but not fired up. Really liked it because is flowed nicely, no brush marks, and is not tacky or flaky like the spray bomb stuff.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Truck Today ?

Swapped the old 250 cube 6 & the attached toyota 5 speed, plus a disassembled 454 for a 28 Model A Tourer, thats mostly complete, tho fully disassembled.

We replaced the 250 & manual with a 350/700R4 combo over the past six weeks.

Sand, plastic, sand, plastic on the hood and bumpers. Also down to the final (cross my fingers) sand on the steering column. Gettin' itchy to start painting...

Got the right side cab corner welded on, and started fabing up the left side. First time welding in a patch panel, i think it turned out good enough for the woman i date!
