I remember your trip with the black truck. That was a good bit of fun reading.

Hi Eric happy to see, you are underway as me and from the global view we are more or less on the same point. Verry proud that I have seen personally some of the described trucks and more proude that I drove some of them. Thank you for the great chat. Greetings from Hershey Car show. By the way I plan a small surprise for you.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
One thing I noticed up here
Especially in remote areas There is brand loyalty, even on plow trucks When one wears out, push it aside Park it in the bushes Often I would see 3-4 dead trucks (of the same brand) Abandoned for a newer model Ford- Dodge And Chevrolet |

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
I’m gonna have to check out that book/podcasts. Sounds like you guys could be onto something great, you might be able to pull it off! You’d already have a group of followers on the new thread to watch it all unfold...

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
I wouldn’t call mine worse, but it sure makes me hurt that someone cut a shortbed big block a/c dash with a spoon. Fortunately I have a nice repair panel to fix it.

Seems like a nationwide epidemic back in the day...Seems to me, no one was embarrassed when their buddies got into the truck...then again 'Birds of a feather.......'

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
Yeap, loose the mirrors.
Now you got me thinking, 32 years ago I put a "black" hounds tooth interior in this truck because I thought it was stupid Chevy didn't do it. I still have the Parchment stuff and even a pair of newly covered Parchment buckets and all the floor braces. Those Parchment buckets sure look good now.
