Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
Hell yeah! Dont touch any thign but the suspension...the drop member would be great and a rear air ride would be sweet. For wheels id try some 20" budnik fomosa's or billet specailties vin-tech dish in the same size. coys are cool but I like the budniks! Sweet truck!

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
Nice start for a project! I'd drop it 5-6", install some FACTORY Ralleys with the caps and trim rings, and install a big block!
Oh, and a new bumper......he he

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
I live in Nacogdoches..
The wheels are 20x8(255-35-20) and 20x10(295-45-20). The front has belltech 3" drop spindals, ART's front component kit. (Hopefully soon ART strong arms). The back has suicidedoors c-notch, weld-up 4-link, and shock kit.. I didn't cut the bed floor at all, so thats why it doesn't lay out in the rear, but I like having a full bed floor.. The truck will drive with the front about 2" high than in the pic..

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
Here's a video of me running through 1st and 2nd gear short shifting at 6k rpm. I didn't want to go any higher until I get a tune and I know for sure it's making power up there. I was on a dirty gritty road so hardly no traction at first but normally those tires hook really good. This would be roughly a 1/8 mile run. I got out of it at the beginning of 3rd gear. Enjoy!

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
what I would do is turn it in to a sleeper leave every thing alone on the outside and put a 383 stroker with a beefed up th350 or a muncie 4spd with a beefed up 12 bolt truck or car rear end in it and stiff stocks and coil springs
