Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew
Here is my YouTube channel, got a couple trail riding videos up. Just got my gopro so, more to come. I trail ride but my son loves the track. There is a great moto park here in Hawaii.

Looks like a straight S10. My son wants a old s10... Not a lot to choose from out here. Keep up the progress.

Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew
Believe me, it's killing me to let it sit there. It's been tough to squirrel away any bux to get rolling again. Not that there's nothing I could be doing but I really want to get some color down. It's been hotter than the hubs of hell too! This S10 project has taken the C10's spot in the shop too. Makes it even tougher when I step outside and see it sitting there like that.
Got the motor planted on Saturday but sheesh, there was a lot of stuff to sort out. Exhaust basically finished last night, just a little wiring and plumbing to do then plant the dizz. Maybe fire it tonight! Talk about tires! That 2.8 and the lincoln locker was scrubbing them down fast. He'll be putting the hurt on them now man

Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew
Looks like a clean s10. I daily drive a 92 s10 2.5 5spd standard short and it's the best truck I've ever owned.

Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew
Goodguy's was killer!! I really wished I had taken more photos and had more time to chat with some of the builders. I did however catch up with members Bomp, McMurphy, Captianfab and MarkB. Bomp and McMurph even swung by after the show to eyeball my dusty project and the fun dome!!
Thanks guys for taking the time and it was great to meet up. The Boy's rig is finally running half azzed, just needs some AF calibration and a leaky tailshaft fixed. We rolled that down to the show. It sounds tuff and really turns some heads! Lot's of Supers down there that probably deserve the best C10 of the show but here's my favorite for some obvious reasons.

Knuckle head drilled out a secondary metering plate for his Holley and WOW did that wake it up. He's still gotta fatten it up more but it's gonna ROCK. He needs to buy a metering block kit so he can use actual JETS in the back. We should have fired it up for you guys, sounds nasty with the Lunati. He's leakin gear oil like a mad-dog so I reminded him of the Muncie story you told us. Hoping he sorts that out tomorrow. Went riding today, brother in-law busted his leg and messed up his knee. Dammit!

Nothin like a good day of riding bro. I did the same... Got lost in a valley and ended upon someones back yard then, had to ride about a 1/4 mile down the main road. Yanked a wheelie for the cars! Lol. That yellow truck is sick. Where's da pic of the dime

Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew
What would you all say if I said I was gonna pluck the cab and do a short box conversion? Project is moolah-stalled and it's something I could be working on for almost no bux. My bed is really nice except in front of the drivers wheel opening. WAY back when I was welding up camper tie-down holes that area was oil canning. I tried shrinking, effin around, etc... and ended up making a big azz slice down the side and welding it up. There's a BUNCH of filler in there that bugs the hell outta me anyways. I'd end up cutting most of that out by doing the conversion. Boy is freakin out but I think it'd be cool.
