Heres my 78 full top conversion...Had 22" wires on it and a black soft top when I bought it...Just picked up the hard top and temporary mags...Wheels coming soon...Any feedback appreciated...Looking to do a classic Torque Thrust style...Been done to death but oh well...Looks killer.

Of course I'm aware of minor mods need to be done to the fenders, your help would be greatly appreciated! Tony.... Oh you have one amazing Burb

I'm building this green 77, it started out a Brown 4x4.
I swapped the frame with a 79 short wide that I shortened 9".
I made a 4 link rear and bagged it.

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

Thanks R46, Not sure what to call it.
I also have this 84 and the fender badge says K5 but the title says K10 1/2 ton.
Somebody needs to school me on that.
C means 2wd, K means 4wd, what's the difference in the 5 and 10?

Maybe I need to go to the swap meet some time; I would like to try some bigger wheels on my crew, but not looking to lay out that much coin on something I only "kind of" want to do?

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

AHAH! It worked! This is my project. Didn't think there was another one out there but, as usual, it's been done before. 87 3/4ton/TBI454/TH400/208. It started life as a Border Patrol truck (4x4/3/4 ton/TBI350/400/208. I Started with the 4" lift, then dually adapters and 285's. Bought a doner 83 dually for the fenders which had to be sectioned 2" to center them up on the tures. The dually also donated dual exhaust, front seat, perfect dash, and tilt column. Next addition was the TBI 454 from a 92 Winnebago which a storm had blown the roof off of. Sucker only had 16,700 miles! Last year I bought the back half of a wrecked 90' Blazer with the hopes of making it a one of a kind Dually Sublazer (Blazurban??) and now that I get to cuttin', I find it's been done..... LOL Good times! Maybe I should get out more.
