Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Went home this past weekend and got some stuff done. Waiting on my brother to send me some pictures then I'll get them posted. Going back again this weekend to work on it. Not sure if I'll be bringing it to niftee fiftees since I really wanted to have the bed on first, but I'm going to the show regardless!

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Howdy!
David you are doing a great job on this truck. How are your classes going at A&M? Having fun at the football games, man I miss going to them.... Just read thru your whole thread. Looks like you have come along way. I have the itch to build one of this body style and I prefer the small window 67 but they are hard to find. What are you studing? Think you will finish the truck this year? Gig'Em

I originally responded with finance but I couldn't stand it so I put in my application for Industrial Distribution this semester. I'm liking it a lot!

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Thanks Mike!!
Thank you! Quote:
Thanks man! Just got the fenders in high build today! The passenger side is in great shape and the driver side still needs a good amount of work. We bolted up the fenders for bodywork so that the bedsides will be really straight when it's all together and painted. We will disassemble for final paint. Let me know what you think! |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
I think it looks killer! The wheels/tires are perfect. Very cool stepper! I also think that this turkey break should light a nice fire under your ass! Lets not be boggin down again. You don't wanna be still screwin with ticky-tack stuff come spring time. Get that thing done this winter!
Nice work!

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Looks awesome! What exactly are you using for finish? Dosen't look like you stained them at all, just clear. How many coats top and bottom are you going to do?
